Today was a milestone. We packed the big painting, a major undertaking. Kevin was a big help and his daughter, Chloe fetched tools, carried screws and was in charge of holding doors. Jack supervised, he’s the head packman in this operation. FedEx Freight picked up the crate this afternoon. What a good feeling to have this done. However I must admit, I feel like we’re sending a child off to school. I don’t usually get emotionally attached to my pieces but I’m going to miss that big painting! Anyway, Breathtaking Retreat is on its way to Vail, Colorado for my one artist show the weekend of July 4th. If you are in the area we would love for you to stop in and say HI! If you would like more information just ask. Hugs, Mikki Senkarik

So that’s why Jack is not on the scene. He is supervising or is that called taking photographs. What a spotless uncluttered workshop. I’m envious.
I would like to visit in Vail but, alas, a long way from here.
