HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I’ve shown you this picture before but I feel it’s worth repeating. Besides, it is very appropriate for starting the New Year. One of the best things Jack taught me was to live one day at a time, not allowing uncontrollable events to blemish our calendar with a black X. When we first got together he said, “Mikki, we may not be able to control what happens to us but we can control what we do about it. Just because something bad happens, we don’t have to let it ruin our entire day. Let’s make up our minds to have NO BAD DAYS.”
So let’s ALL follow Jack’s wise advice and make a resolution to have NO BAD DAYS in 2017! THINK POSITIVE and make the best of even the worst situation!
Along with resolutions, many of you are starting to make your travel plans for 2017. I’m also planning ….Our annual Team Senkarik Collector Event in Santa Fe this year on September 2. I hope you can come! I’d love to personally give you a hug and thank you for being here for me.
May your walls know joy, every room hold laughter, each door open to opportunity and may the Peace of Our Lord fill your life in the New Year!

Hi Mikki, Yes, it’s a brand new year and hopefully it will bring you much joy and happiness. Lonnie and I don’t travel anymore because Lonnie has several medical issues. At every meal in our breakfast room we look at your painting and think how’s Mikki doing. We would love to see you and maybe one day you will travel to the Chicago area.
Happy New Year and a long distance hug, Stan and Lonnie Schwab

What a wonderful positive attitude! Glad you are not only sharing a positive attitude but sharing so much of your knowledge for painting. Happy New Year!
I’m doing some gallery wraps and using your idea for attaching the canvass to cardboard for easy handling. Thank you so much. I’m learning a lot from you.
